  • CAN MY GROUP OR CLUB PARTICIPATE IN A ROCK-IT EVENT/EXPERIENCE?
We would love to talk with you about how your group or club could bring a homemade or homegrown product to sell at a ROCK-IT event.
  • DO WE HAVE TO SELL OUR PRODUCT THE ENTIRE TIME?
Out of respect for other vendors and our partnership with local events, Entrepreneurs will need to set up before the event and stay until the event is over (just like all other vendors).
  • HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE A KID ENTREPRENEUR?
A kid entrepreneur is A dreamer who doesn’t let age get in the way of looking at the world creatively, taking a few risks, and putting their skills to the test.
  • WHAT IF THERE’S MORE THAN ONE ENTREPRENEUR IN OUR FAMILY?
We want to provide customers with a variety of items to purchase from a variety of Entrepreneurs. Due to limited number of “booths” available, we ask that applicants follow the ONE FAMILY, ONE BUSINESS, ONE BOOTH rule.
  • CAN ENTREPRENEURS HAVE HELP FROM THEIR PARENTS?
We recognize that great entrepreneurs have great mentors, and we hope that parents will champion their kids in the process. Just remember, the goal is for the young entrepreneur to have primary decision-making power, be the primary producer, and be the primary seller!
  • HOW WILL WEATHER IMPACT ROCK-IT EVENTS/EXPERIENCES?
Events that we plan to partner with are typically “Rain or Shine.” We will follow their lead on this! So, be sure to keep weather in mind when selling your product. How will you display it, store it, or protect it in the event of wind, rain, or extreme temperatures.
  • WHAT IS AN ENTREPRENEUR ALLOWED TO SELL?
Items or products sold at a Rock-It event should be a HOMEMADE CREATION PRODUCED BY THE ENTREPRENEUR. Pre-assembled items, craft kits purchased from the store, or items available for purchase elsewhere are not permitted.
  • WHO ELSE NEEDS TO BE PRESENT WHEN I'M SELLING?
Entrepreneurs and their “business partners” must be supervised at all times by a parent/guardian while participating in a ROCK-IT event.
  • CAN BAKED GOODS BE MADE AT HOME AND SOLD?
Yes! Baked goods are welcome and, at the right price, will likely sell well. However, anything baked in a home kitchen should follow “Cottage Baker Guidelines” in Arkansas. Contact us for more info on this.
  • DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO PARTICIPATE?
There is no entrance or booth fee to participate in a ROCK-IT experience. In the spirit of community, however, we do ask entrepreneurs to “Fuel Good Things” by donating 10% of their total profit to a featured nonprofit (to be collected at the end of the event).
  • WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING ON GAME DAY?
Entrepreneurs will need to provide their own 10x10 booth, table, chairs, and signage for ROCK-IT events (unless otherwise communicated). We will provide the space at the event and let you know ahead of time where you will need to set up on “game day.” Need help securing these items? Let us know. We might be able to help.
